What is FERPA?

To remain compliant within the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), confidential student information should not be released to anyone but the student. Note: If the word "Confidential" is presented after the students' name, the student has requested a student information restriction. Do not release any information on this student to anyone without written authorization from the student.
