How do I get Copies Made?

There are two basic ways to have copies made for your classes, SLCC Printing Services or Stand Alone Convenience Copiers.

SLCC Printing Services (Copy Center)

A department index code is required on items taken to one of Printing Services' Copy Centers. At least a 24-hour turn-around time is needed. An index code may be obtained from your department administrative assistant or secretary. The index code is not to be used for personal copies.

You can make copies at one of the Printing Services locations. Copy Centers may be found at the following locations:

Taylorsville Redwood Campus, Main Office ATC 109 801-957-4157

M-R 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.;

F 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Taylorsville Redwood Campus, Kiosk STC 101 E 801-957-5197

M-R 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.;

F 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

South City Campus 1-061H-D 801-957-3301

M-F 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Jordan Campus HTC 131 801-957-2678

M-R 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.;

F closed

Hours will vary when classes are not in session and during the summer semester.

Stand Alone Convenience Copiers

Copies may also be made at faculty mailbox locations on each campus or the FTLCs. A personal copy code must be obtained and programmed into these Convenience Copiers for faculty and staff use. Check with the site director or department for the location of the Convenience Copiers.

These machines handle a small amount of copy work (20-30 copies) and are not meant to handle large runs. You will need a personal code number in order to use the Convenience Copiers. Contact your department administrative assistant or secretary to obtain a code number or contact the Copy Center at 801-957-4157. This code number is given only to you, and is not to be used for personal copying.

If you teach at different locations, you may request that the same code number be put on the machines in the different locations. Please allow a 48-hour delay for the code to be put into the machine.
