How and when am I compensated?

SLCC pays on a semi-monthly basis (24 times a year) with paydays on the 7th and 22nd of the month. If these dates fall on a weekend or a Monday holiday, payday is the Friday before.

Adjunct contracts are obtained through your respective department. The Adjunct Faculty Workload Limits document may help adjunct understand how many hours faculty can be assigned to work. The Adjunct Faculty (Part-time Instructional) FAQ’s document may also answer questions adjuncts may have. Adjunct faculty are compensated for professional development trainings when approved by their associate dean. If you are an adjunct instructor and you need to miss a class, please contact your department. To get a sign placed on your door for your students, contact faculty support.

Check the college holiday schedule to see when the college is closed and classes are not held.
