Who do I contact for in class Technology Support?

Technology in the classrooms can take many forms, and at times be the responsibility of different departments at the College.

Internet Connection issues

Internet Connection issues are handled by the IT helpdesk. Call (801-957-5555) or email helpdesk@slcc.edu to open a work order to address access or internet connectivity issues.

SLCC Login issues

If you are experiencing issues logging on to any of the college software such as MySLCC, or Canvas, contact the SLCC help desk at (801-957-5555) or email helpdesk@slcc.edu to open a work order to address the issue.

SLCC IT will not assist in making repairs to computers or software not owned or licensed by the college.

Instructional Technology (projection and other AV equipment found in room)

Most classrooms at the college are equipped with a LCD Projector and hookups for your laptops. If additional in class Audio Visual equipment is needed, or if you experience technical problems with the audio-visual equipment in your classrooms, please contact the SLCC Technical Support Help Desk at (801) 957-5555 to see what is available. The Help Desk Technicians will submit a ticket for your classroom question or issue, and route them to the appropriate classroom technicians. Most issues are usually resolved within 24 hours. You may also submit a Self-Service or Chat ticket through support.slcc.edu or send an email to helpdesk@slcc.edu.

Monday - Thursday: 8:00 am - 8:00 pm
Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Saturday: e-mail only: helpdesk@slcc.edu
