  • Advocated for individual faculty in a number of labor disputes
  • Represented faculty concerns around the SLCC COVID-19 response (ongoing)
  • Partnered with Faculty Senate to revamp the tenure policy
  • Revamped the FA Constitution (ongoing)
  • Negotiating an additional pay system for faculty who receive external grants
  • Partnered with People and Workplace Culture to promote more “No Meeting” days (like Reading Day)

  • Partnered with the Alumni and Student Association to create donation initiative for commencement
  • Partnered with Faculty Senate to advocate for adjunct faculty compensation for canceled classes and to create a tiered pay system (ongoing)
  • Worked collaboratively with administration in Discussion Team to create a pathway to tenure-track status for “Diverse Faculty Fellow” hires
  • Negotiated proposals for 12 month and flex contracts
  • Got faculty the extra two days of 2020 Spring Break for class pivoting from face to face to online.
