ACUE Microcredential Courses
ACUE Microcredential Courses sponsored by the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE) are semester-long, asynchronous professional development opportunities facilitated by the Faculty Teaching & Learning Center. We offer one ACUE microcredential course for each semester. The microcredential courses "prepare college instructors to use the research-based techniques shown to help students succeed." The four microcredential courses include:
- Promoting Active Learning
- Creating an Inclusive and Supportive Learning Environment
- Inspiring Inquiry and Preparing Lifelong Learners
- Designing Learner-Centered and Equitable Courses
FDTEI coordinates with the Provost’s Office and Academic Departments to invite faculty to participate. Faculty who successfully complete all four microcredential courses receive a certificate sponsored by ACUE and the American Council of Education.
